moreno
Okay folks, I would like for someone here to please tell me the correct way to boot into command line in this OSX86 please. I've tried F8, holding down shift key, also the enter key but none will boot into safe mode, or command line, or whatever it is called. The only way I've been able to boot into Darwin Command Line has been by just wildly pressing every key in my keyboard as the PC is booting until I get command line or some memory error and lock up. I'm sure there has to be a better way. So again, please be patient with me and thank you so much in advance, but, what is the proper way to boot Darwin into command line? I need to try and recover my system from a black logon screen by possibly deleting the NVidia drivers or something.. Rammjet
Right after you select MacOSX and hit enter, start tapping the F8 key. You have to time it just right. moreno
Thanks Rammjet. I'll try that out. So, it is the F8 key then? I've tried that before but only pressed it once after I see the Darwin line on the screen right before the Grey Apple Logo splash screen. For some reason, just pressing F8 once wasn't doing it. I guess I'll have to press it more often then and hopefully catch it just in time.
