I install snow leopard from my old leopard system to a new partition.

(by runing the OSInstall.mpkg located in the retail disk)

and use the "myHack installer RC4.1" afterward.

then I can boot in to snow leopard very quickly.

I only need to fix the sound and graphic card problem.

after everything is set, I notice the speed is much slower then the old leopard system I got.

so I check the memory in the Activity Monitor, notice that my 3GB of memory is eating up after maybe 2hrs.

then I add 1GB of ram and make it 4GB on my system.

but the system still eat it all up.

just right now I only use firefox, safari, adium.

and it only have 34mb left.

I feel like the memory just decrease by the time.... I have to constantly restart the system to keep the system responsive.

I never have this problem with leopard. It can run like 15 days without restarting it and still running fast.

maybe the main reason causing the system slow isn't due to the memory, but it's the only thing I notice.

anyone having this problem ?

how to fixed it ?

any suggestion will help.

thanks, everyone.
