soccermadman
Let me preface all of the discussion with the following information. I have previously successfully installed and used MAC OSX 10.5.6 from an Iatkos disk on my old laptop an HP dv9207 without any issues. I have a newer Iatkos disk that is supposed to install 10.5.7 by default (and does). I can get it to boot, but it tells me there is no keyboard or mouse (i have tried every combination of kexts I can figure within reason)[read: not loading {censored} that isn't on my laptop] and I can't get it to work. If I finish the configuration, I have no network controller installed so no interwebs (even plugged in). What I am asking is does anyone know where I can get drivers for this hardware (even parts of it) to get this working? Should I download the older 10.5.6 DVD that has alot more drivers on it and attempt to load off of that? An interesting thing I have found is that if I use the Psystar boot loader and boot the 10.6 disc I have, it gives me a message about no mouse being plugged in on my laptop. At the same time I have also not attempted to install 10.6 straight up. If you think this is advisable let me know A link to the hardware specs on this laptop: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16834117940 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197328-sony-vgn-fw463jt-questions/ Share on other sites
