JonDoe
Im trying to install Snow Leo Server on Intel d945glf board, which should work normally… I have built a setup disk (and put it on a usb flash drive) by following this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=183751 Now, when booting from the install disk, I can see the chameleon screen, where i can select a disk to boot from. When i want to start setup, it stops with an kernel Panic, that looks like this AppleACPICPU: ProcessorID=1 LocalApicID=0 Enabled AppleACPICPU: ProcessorID=2 LocalApicID=1 Enabled AppleACPICPU: ProcessorID=3 LocalApicID=130 Disabled AppleACPICPU: ProcessorID=4 LocalApicID=131 Disabled panic(cpu 0 caller 0x293e3d): Should have 1 Threads, but only found 2 for Die 1"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1456.1.25/osfmk/i386/cpu_threads.c:1131 Debugger calle: <panic> Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame : Return Address (4 potental args on stack) …. Thanks in advance! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197308-d945gclf-kernel-panic/ Share on other sites

my2cents
i tried quite everything from the thred, but i keep getting this kernel panics... seems to be a problem in NullCPUPowerManagement kext... I too had the kp after chameleon booting up. To resolve this, type "arch=i386" while chameleon is loading, but before it start to load SL. This starts up SL in 32 bit mode.
