I have installed Tiger before on y old Snow iMac but it needs more HD and more memory to really run so I decided to try OSx86 just for the fun of it...hahaha I am hving trouble getting the install to format the HD. I have used two dsitros and both have had the same result in the Erase procedure...Input/Output Error.... I have a MSI 945GM3 MOBO with a Intel P4 HT 3.0 Ghz processor and 1 GB RAM (Plan on upping this if it works) The HD is a Maxtor 80 GB SATA I HD - I have heard SATA is the problem but how do I go about fixing it. I tried to do this as a dual boot but could care less about dual booting on this HD I would rather just format the whole thing and try it out. I am using iDeneb 1.5.2, I also have Kalaway 10.5.2 both produce the same error. Any help would be great...Thanks!
