holmes Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Hi, having difficulty viewing any video formats with QuickTime 7.1. I get red and green lines on a black background within the QT player. Rammjet Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 I get strange colors in QT when QE is not enabled. Once I enable it, it goes away. I believe you need QE enabled to run QT. Go to System Profiler and verify whether you have QE (Quartz Extreme) on your video card. If not, might want to review your video drivers. Also, download and try VLC to see if it performs any better. mengor Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 System Profiler says QE compatible (I have an Ati x800 and 3d is ok...). VLC is working perfect... It seems it is only with some kind of movs... for example the new leopard page in apple.com! I can see trailers in itunes music store... If you haven't installed it, might want to download it from Apple website (Go to Support -> Downloads).
