iwcham1979 Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Hi guys. I was running some distro SL install, that wouldn't update to 10.6.2. NOw i wanted to do the usb vanilla install, and used the sl distro install to prepare my thumb drive, but the installer needs 8 hours to restore my SL DVD onto the USb flash drive.... I've tried copying some Avi files onto the usb, and noticed it's damn slow.... Is there any way to fix Usb transfer speed? Tnx for response in advance. ( A simple yes or no would mean something ) Perhaps there are some usb kexts to try? fart pants Posted November 16, 2009 Share Posted November 16, 2009 I'm having the same issue. It took over an hour for 1.11GB to transfer to corsair 16GB usb drive. have you found a solution?
