opei
I have a Dell Studio XPS 16 (1640) That has a fresh install of SnowOSX 3.5 and I can only boot into safe boot. I am trying to do the 10.6.2 Update and I get a KP everytime it gets to the "optomizing changes" portion. I did not install sleepenabler and I have tried the update instructions on netkas.org. If anyone has any ideas what could be causing this I would appriciate the advice. I have gone to /Library/Logs/ and there is nothing in there for the KP either. System Specs: CPU - T9800 Video - ATI 4670 WiFi - Dell 1510 *Working* Ram - 4GB HD - 250GB SATA Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/197196-kp-during-1062-update/ Share on other sites

Muffinmann
I made it! Did you install the SL with a running OS X with the OSInstall.mpkg from SL DVD? Then just reinstall the BSD.pkg from SL DVD! You find it on your SL DVD under /Volumes/Mac OS X Install DVD/System/Installation/Packages Good Luck!
