Loccy
Hi all. Bearing in mind I'm relatively new to this Mac business (hated the bleeding things pre-OSX, have dabbled in OSX both in emulation and native), I now find myself with a batch of four MacBook Pros that I need to configure so our users can run both Windows and OSX apps. Bearing in mind that Boot Camp is beta software, what approach would people recommend I adopt? I will have to use Boot Camp on at least ONE of them (because it's mine, and I intend to play games ) but for the rank and file users, who will just be running applications, the ability to run side by side is compelling. Stability is the key though -- as this is for a production enviroment we can't have the thing crashing every two seconds, or having to be nursemaided along in some other way. Any advice would be most welcome. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19716-boot-camp-or-parallels-for-a-production-environment/ Share on other sites
Victor Gil
If you need to use some hardware intensive apps (like games), you better use Boot Camp, but for the mayority of apps you can use Parallels Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19716-boot-camp-or-parallels-for-a-production-environment/#findComment-129481 Share on other sites
