Kaneda13
When i set my hackintosh up originally, i was only running OSX, i would like to add a Windows partition now, but my only drive is GUID. I resized my partition, but XP won't install on a new partition if the main partition is GUID, any way aroudn this? srs5694
The easiest approach is to create a hybrid MBR configuration with the Windows partition(s) in the MBR side. Another approach is to use an add-on EFI product such as DUET to enable Windows to install. This is described here. Personally, I've not gotten this to work, but it does seem to work for some people. If your motherboard as an EFI (or UEFI) option, you could use that, but such options are rare.
