bluedivine
I have a dell xps m1330 and i was able to successfully install iatkos v7 but after installation upon booting the OSX, i get the able logo loading followed by a blue screen and then the screen goes blank. There is music playing in the background but the video isn't working. In the customization stage of the install phase i did not select a video driver. My video driver is Intel Mobile 965 express chip set and i have tried all the intel graphics drivers during installation but none worked. I have tried to go into single user mode but I get the firewire error so i disabled my media card driver and booted into single user again; however, i get to root and it freezes and I can't type anything in. Any help would be appreciated. vetsen
This is a stab in the dark. Maybe your system is driving the monitor at the wrong resolution. Try forcing it to boot at a lower resolution. I have never done this but you can specify this at the bootloader by typing "Graphics Mode"="1280x800x32@60" or some other resolution and see what you get. bluedivine
I tried that and at the apple logo you can see that resolution change but the screen still goes blank. I know you can disable the gmax kexts in -s and force it to use the default graphics but I can't seem to be able to use -s.
