Tried all bootloaders still no go on generic hardware, what now?

Hi there guys, here the deal, I have tried the following and cant get anything to fully boot,

 

heres my hardware setup.

 

DFI dk p35 dk mobo, 

 

Xeon E3110@4ghz 

 

gskill 4gb ram

 

nvidia 8800gt 1gb ram.

 

 

 

 

Pretty vanilla setup if you ask me....

 

 

 

 

I have tried the following,

 

 

 

 

SNOWosx 10.6, installs wonderfully, but freezes at boot. (at netkas warning) no kernal panics, etc...

 

Retail DVD with,

 

Empire EFI, -regular 1.04 gets memory allocation error,

 

the fixed linuxiso based bootloader wont boot either.

 

 

 

 

what other bootloaders could I try? I really would like to do a vanilla install and not mess with a distro for update reasons.  I dont have an external/usb stick or working leo install to play with...

 

 

 

 

Any tips to get me in the right direction?
