ace_012
I have an Acer Aspire One D150 with 2GB of ram that I am trying to dual boot with osx86. I am currently following this tutorial: http://fcolaco.com/blog/2009/04/28/acer-as...ficially-a-mac/ Since the hardware in the A150 and D150 isn't much different. I have followed the tutorial as closely as I can, used EASEUS partition master to split my XP partition and made a FAT32 Primary partition, booted up first iDeneb 1.5.1 and erased it, followed exactly like the tutorial said. Once it was done installing, I restarted, press any button at the chameleon screen, typed "-x" and it starts to load then just goes into a kernal panic. I made sure the iDeneb Essentials was checked, and also checked Netbook > acer aspire one. So then I tried iDeneb 1.4, did the same thing, selected the Acer Aspire One A150 package and then the first time I tried to boot it went into a kernal panic, so then I rebooted and tried it again and now it just goes to a black screen with a blinking pinwheel cursor, that just disappears when I stop moving it. I am using a dual layer dvd burner with a Sata -> USB adapter to run the DVD. Anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong or maybe other packages I should install? I also have a DW1390 on the way Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196605-kernal-panic-on-ideneb-v14-v151-both/ Share on other sites
