Matthew Williams
I've downloaded the DVD from demonoid and I have burned it onto a DVD. The problem is I can't seem to boot it and all the time (Even when attempting to boot with options) I get the problem that '/com.apple.Boot.plist' isn't findable. I'd also like to partition it so that it will contain: 1) 17.25GB of disk space to Windows XP Professional (modded with SP2) 2) 12.5GB for the first part of the OS X 3) the remainder for the other part of the OS X to work How do I do this and, with Partition Magic, how can I make sure that this will work? Rammjet
For booting problem, put your hard drive as master and dvd drive as slave on the same channel. Also, might try re-burning your dvd at a slower rate. For installation, follow a guide to be sure that you catch everything: http://www.profit42.com/index.php/2006/05/...ndows-computer/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19658-require-installation-help-on-the-jas-1046-dvd-x86/#findComment-128885 Share on other sites
Matthew Williams
I just realised that the DVD is a ReWRITable so I'll have to find out how to get a recordable disc (ReISOing the disc via UltraISO or regetting it) and phisically checking the drives later. I'll just make sure that both are Primary (HDD) and Slave (DVD) before I continue, and disabling the Legacy support. Once again thanks for help and I'll keep posted if I succeed ^^ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19658-require-installation-help-on-the-jas-1046-dvd-x86/#findComment-128997 Share on other sites
Matthew Williams
Right, I'm bumping this up so I know what I have to do on BOTH discs (darwin and JaS Mac) it keeps booting up and the same error comes up. I also have a few questions: 1. What do I have to do to remove the /com.apple.Boot.plist error 2. Do I have to change the code to install both Darwin and JaS? and 3. On the Ultimate CD booter, what do I do to make sure that windows boots up if I can't install Mac or Darwin?
