komrade
Hello, is there a hardware configuration wich will run everything with absolutely no problems regarding the osx86 ? By everything i mean really everything just like an Intel Mac bought from Apple - apps, games, no video/sound/driver problems? My mac mini is not good enough for WoW and i'm looking forward to bying a new computer but i'm not sure yet what to do - buy the new intel mini and stock it up with 2gb ram or get a hackintosh. I have read the wiki and FAQs but didnt find a straightforward answer of the question i ask here. Please excuse me if this has been asked too oft. Andrey
If you added a proper video card to my config, you'd have a solid machine for gaming as well as everything else! komrade
What do you mean by "a proper videocard" ? One that is compatible and has the drivers or just a better one for gaming and stuff? I read that there are problems with the drivers for the most videocards... Is that so? I will use the computer for Adobe Photoshop, WoW, and the normal internet stuff. Is there something like a 100% compatible configuration where everything will work out of the box, something like a "perfect" configuration? Ofcourse there is the option of bying a normal pc but for the year that im using my mac mini now i dont want to hear about any windows ****s. MacApprentice
Mine is just perfect, never tried wow on it thow. You could had a x1800 or x1600, those are now fully supported via boris method (see in hardware -> drivers section of the forum) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19652-hardware-compatibility/#findComment-128866 Share on other sites
