Hello all,

I am trying to install OSX on an Aspire One AO75 with the latest bios, but the install gets to a certain point each time, then stops. I tried installing from USB thumb drive with a Kalyway iso image. I followed this guide. Also tried a straight leopard ISO with the Rebel EFI. Both install methods freeze during the install at "dsmos starting".

Spent a couple hours on google. Attempted installing from a DVD image of the Kalyway iso as well.

Anyone have any suggestions? Since multiple methods have failed, I am guessing its not the process/procedure. I am left with hardware or (gasp) user error.

Any advice would be helpful.

I suppose I can try the iDeneb distro. Is there a difference in the drivers between the various distros, or are these all pretty much the same?

im running into the same exact problem on my Hp dv9610us and havent found any solution yet. Ill post back if i do.

Thanks. I noticed this procedure for using the iDeneb distro. I'll give this a shot too.
