alain57 Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Hi, i search for a way to install SL on an NC10 without needing to install 10.5 i tried a first method described here : http://lifehacker.com/5351485/how-to-build...start-to-finish but when i boot on the usb stick i get a kernel panic (some problem with an unrecognized CPU ...) maybe i needed to type something for it to recognise my cpu (atom) or do i need to try it with 10.6.1 (i have 10.6.0) so what was your way to install it ? alain57 Posted November 8, 2009 Author Share Posted November 8, 2009 I found a tutorial that explain how to do it : http://mydellmini.com/forum/dual-booting-g...indows-7-a.html in fact i only installed SL, no dual boot all was is needed is a SL retail DVD (or iso) a running mac (a friends one can do it) to restore the DVD content on an USB stick and the last piece : netbook boot maker my nc10 is modified with a DELL WLAN card the sound, WLAN, Ethernet, camera are working out of the box....
