blitz355
Hey guys im new! After experimenting with os x on pc awhile back(didn't get it to work), i just got back into it and decided to try my luck at running os x using vmware server edition. got my iso image jas 10.4.8 amd intel. Set up all the stuff correctly using pcwiz's guide, i get to the os x installation screen where i'm supposed to select language but my mouse or keyboard are not functioning within the virtual machine. any help would be greatly appreciated, and if im reposting, sorry! It's just that old threads usually don't get many responses and I've already read a couple different posts but non seem to have my problem. Thanks guys Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196055-no-mousekeyboard-in-vmware-help/ Share on other sites
kailm
use a usb mouse, enable vmware to enable all usb devices. Then goto windows devicemanger disable your usb mouse, and attach it to vmware. it will work. (might have to disconnect the usb mouse and plug it back in for vmware to take control) not sure about keyboard, will need usb keyboard as well i suppose.
