XoDeus
What is wrong? It worked now it doesn't. When I installed iDeneb for 1 and a half week aga, the temperature problems were not an issue. Everything worked I even heard my fan now and then. Now my fan is again almost idle. When uusing flash my temperature goes high, and the fan is not starting? I've not installed any other updates than iTunes.. Okay I've some applications but noone that I think should have anything to do with my fan issue. can anyone please help. along with iDeneb I installed VoodooPower.kext and I can see that it's enabled. But I don't know why the fans are not working properly again... Something broke it... EDIT: Later I'll try to do a clean install. And I'll have my Temperature Monitor running all the time to find the app that causes the heat problems... EDIT AGAIN: I think that I've scared OS X while I burned the Windows 7 image to a disk. The fans are working properly now... Don't know what's happening... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196041-cpu-fan-issues-again/ Share on other sites

I think you have a cold boot issue, Try to turn on your pc at least one hour after you turned it off last(to give your cpu enough time to cooling down from operational temperature), and boot right to the osx. See if your fan working properly, if not, there is a cold boot issue. A possible solution: here Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/196041-cpu-fan-issues-again/#findComment-1343687 Share on other sites
