oldboy
Howdy folks could someone give me an idea of why i possibly cant change my refresh rates? i can change resolution fine iether at bootup or in boot.plist etc but the moment I add the @75 or 85 its hangs on bootup, however if i add the safe mode flag -x it seems to work but i cant tell for sure is there a program that i can use or a command which can output my current refresh rate? changing the refresh rate should work, it says VESA 3 on bootup I dont have any patches or tweaks running for my ATI card... just fresh installed 10.4.4 I have tried flashing my graphic card bios however the software I have been able to find doesnt support my ATI model... I have tried the koverg patch but no go. I have tried a program "DisplayconfigX" which doesnt seem to change any options in my display prefs. I have partially tried callisto but got stuck with inserting my 128 bit raw monitor code i didnt quite understand the instructions I am running 10.4.4 graphics card is gigabyte ATI x800 platinum agp 256mb - code is 0x4a50 P4 3.2 1gig ram everything works perfectly except my refresh rate and im sure everyone agrees its useless running at 60hz please help thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19603-display-doldrums/ Share on other sites
