hi all,

a couple of days ago I tried to install apples latest operating-system - but

painfully without any success :-(

I used "lifehackers" install guide and downloaded and prepared all

necessary files, but as it tries to boot the kernel, I get a panic relating

the following module: "AppleACPIPlattform.kext"

I don't know if this method works with my hardware:

ASRock ConRoe1333-d667 R1.0 BIOS VERSION 1.2

Intel Core 2 Due 2,33 Ghz

NVidia GForce 7600GT 256MB

I had all predecessors successfully running with this hardware.

(tha latest was 10.5.7)

I did not found any information about this hardware and snow - although

this was a popular known as working hardware in the past.

I just found some article in italian on google, but the translation of babelfish

was more then a riddle ;-)

does anyone have some experience with that type of hardware?

can anyone help me about this panic in generel?

thank you in advance!

patrick
