Markus.H.Petersen
Ok ive figured out it boots with boot: cpus=1 But typing this every time sucks a bit. Is it possible to implement this in the boot? vilpostus
Ok ive figured out it boots with boot: cpus=1 But typing this every time sucks a bit. Is it possible to implement this in the boot? Markus Sure. Add cpus=1 to com.apple.Boot.plist in kernel flags section. Like <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>cpus=1</string> Notes: if you use a Chameleon, locate the com.apple.Boot.plist file in /Extra folder (use PlistEdit Pro) if you are not using Chameleon use OSx86Tools to add a flag or locate it manually in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and use PlistEdit Pro to edit OSx86Tools by default opens the com.apple.Boot.plist file located in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration so if you use a Chameleon, it will edit the wrong file, therefore one need to edit it manually Be sure to create a backup before editing Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/195920-lenovo-s10-boot-loop/#findComment-1320879 Share on other sites

Realtek PCI Express Fast Ethernet Controller Series v1.17 PXW-E61: Media test failur, check cable PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM. No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key. vilpostus
No, it works. Just need a boot loader to boot OS X. Try booting it using OS X install DVD.
