mothergoose729
If used correctly, what exactly can a basic DSDT do for me? I have created the DSDT file as per the instructions in blackosx's guild to my GA-P45-DS3L mobo. Compiling it under windows seems to work just fine and then I copy that file into my chameleon(partition)/Extra folder. The guide goes over DSDT for my graphics card, Ethernet, and audio, but only the audio works. And for whatever reason without kexts. I tried applying the CMOS, SATA, and USB fixes to the DSDT file by decompiling it and adding the code. I manually keyed in the lines, and even tried copy/pasting and I am still getting 48 errors when compiled. Using text edit under OSX. When I apply only the CMOS fix it works, but I use USB keyboard and mouse so I need to get that working as well. Link to the guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=173651 I have been at this hackintosh thing for two days straight doing literally nothing else. I am hoping it is just a dumb error on my part that will be an easy fix. A nudge in the right direction would be excellent.
