theSlug Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 Hardware spec HERE! I have installed from JAS patched 10.4.6 DVD, the installation works only with an external monitor attached. I have 3 ploblem: - audio don't work (error in installed module on boot & hardware not present) - the system don't boot if i don't connect the external monitor - the system don't boot after security update (remain background image). theSlug Posted June 12, 2006 Author Share Posted June 12, 2006 MORE INFORMATION: booting process: - system on, boot from cd - switch to external monitor before darwin loading - loading (10minute) darwin - darwin switch video signal on LCD panel (????? if i boot from the lcd darwind dont' boot!!! remain on the BLUE SCREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) - disk partition & format - install, optional x11, Intel SS3 patch, update to 10.4.6, GMA900, wireless continue.... theSlug Posted June 12, 2006 Author Share Posted June 12, 2006 ...at the first boot, the system ramain at the gray loading screen (signal on the external vga monitor, same on lcd) reboot from CD, the signal on ext.monitor... NOW!.... at 800X600! (the installation don't switch on lcd???) dont' format drive, i resume the installation. in progress.... weeman182 Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 osx 10.4.8 works alot bette rwith USB2 support .7 only has 1.1 wireless is none usable but VGA USB AND LAN WORK FINE!!! very usable with Logic or protools !!!
