Horne Fisher
I have a vanilla Leopard 10.5.8 installation and would like to claw back some missing Energy Saver functions. Currently available: Computer sleep Display sleep Put the hard disks to sleep when possible Wake for Ethernet network administrator access Allow power button to sleep the computer Restore Defaults button Schedule button If nothing else, The "Restart automatically after power failure" function would be good to have. Manual and scheduled sleep are both working. Kexts installed: AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext AppleDecrypt.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext AppleSMBIOSEFI.kext IntelCPUPMDisabler.kext IONetworkingFamily.kext LegacyAppleAHCIPort.kext LegacyAppleIntelPIIXATA.kext LegacyIOAHCIBlockStorage.kext NVEnabler 0.1.kext OpenHaltRestart.kext SleepEnabler.kext Thanks, HF Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/195457-missing-energy-saver-functions-how-to-enable/ Share on other sites
Horne Fisher
For anyone else seeking auto restart after power failure with an ES2L, the mobo provides this function in CMOS Setup Utility/Power Management Setup/AC Back. Check any manual MB Intelligent Tweaker BIOS settings after an auto restart, as they may be disabled.
