Gigabyte ep45-ds3r .....

Start of my first post by saying hi I am completly new to this, and have yet to get leopard on my pc

 

i have tried: KALYWAY_LEO_10.5.1

 

after many days/hours of kicking and screaming, i managed to get it installed and boot up to the screens where u select language then it asked me about the data transfer from mac to mac ....but when i was clicking next, it was ''looping'' back to the language screen...then onto the data screen yet again ... everytime i restarted it done the same thing time after time, i dont know if this is common and there is an easy solution,

 

i then tried : iatkos_V7 which seem'd to install as the kalyway version did, but crashed at the apple logo

 

i have yet to even see the main leopard start up screen from 2 different installations

 

patience wearing thin

now, i have got a retail copy of leopard and the grub dfe boot, and i burnt the INITRD.IMG file to a cd-r, on boot up, it asked for installation disc, i plonked in retail disc and it says invalid disc and does nothing........stuck

 

my specs are

 

gigabyte ep45-ds3r mobo

intel core 2 quad q9550 2.83ghz

gforce 7300 gfx

i am trying to install to a 200gb sata hd

 

sorry if i seem to have no clue, and blab on with no usefull info

 

if anyone has any suggestions for either of the 3 methods above would be greatly apreciated,
