Ram Goga
I have 10.5.7 installed on one of my partitions (MBR) on my dell 1525 (dual boot with vista). and now I have installed 10.6 on a external drive (GUID) and updated to 10.6.1. Then created a dmg of that partition and restored on to the internal partition replacing 10.5.7. then installed chameleon to it and voila ....I could log on to 10.6.1 on my internal partition. I thought everything is OK untill I noticed -- 1. sudo -s returns bash: /usr/bin/sudo: Permission denied 2. 'kexthelper B7' does not open 3. repair permissions gives the follwoing output Warning: SUID file "usr/bin/at" has been modified and will not be repaired. //about 20 similar lines 4. update manager fetches but fails to install However internet works I have tried loggin in -s and -x modes but no luck here are my laptop specs dell inspiron 1525 core2 duo 2gm ram 250gm hdd intel 965 sigmatel broadcom wireless Please help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/195269-bash-usrbinsudo-permission-denied/ Share on other sites
