Before I begin I apologise if I ask anything that has already been answered. I have searche and can't find anything relevant.

I have installed Kalyway 10.5.4 and everything installed ok. I tried to install Snow Leopard but had no luck so have decided to stick with Leopard and try to fix the problems I am having with it.

1. I have a 'Broadcom 802.11g Network Adaptor' and a 'VIA Rhine II Compatible Fast Ethernet Adaptor'. I selected the Broadcom option on the customize installation options and it does work, but drops after approx. 5 minutes and can only be restarted (for 5 minutes) by a restart or shut down.

2. I attempted to install a newer version of iTunes and it then told me I needed Quicktime, so I installed Quicktime 7 but when I select iTunes from the dock it say the application crashes at launch etc (off the top of my head). Quicktime however works ok as I can play a mp3 through it, but not iTunes.

3. I can see a system update to 10.5.8. Is this update worth it and how would I go about prepping my PC so it can work ok.

Thanks in advance for any help that you could give me. I am not a PC expert so the simpler the instructions, the easier I will be able to deal with the problem.

Specs:

Display Adaptors: NVIDIA GeForce 6800

Processors: AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4200+

And while I am posting, has anyone heard of, used or had any luck with a Snow Leopard MBR DVD5 torrent. I am currently downloading it now as I have tried all other method with no luck.
