bad dog
Have a Power Mac G5 DP (june 2004). Can anyone tell me what a media bay sensor board (820-1516-A) is and what is its function/purpose? It located at the top of the harddrive bay (upper) and attached to the case. It has a 5 pin connector but don't know what, if anything, attaches to it. Any help would be appreciated. Hope this is posted in the right location, if not let me know. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/195179-media-bay-sensor-board/ Share on other sites

SticMAC The temperature sensor that I know of is at the front of the machine on the divider brace (just below the 2 fans at the front). This one is called a media sensor. Can't really find out any infor on it. But thanks for the reply.
