vilpostus
Use -v voodoo busratio=20 cpus=1 maxmem=2048 boot flags. -v = verbose mode, shows boot messages. Useful solving various issues. voodoo = voodoo kernel. vanilla kernel won't work with AMD. Use voodoo, which is known to work. busratio=20 bus ratio. cpus=1 limits CPU cores to be used to one. Useful on a multicore CPU. If you have a single core CPU, do not use this flag. maxmem=2048 = limits the amount of RAM to be used to 2Gb. Useful then there are more then 2Gb RAm installed (e.g. 3-4Gb). If you have 2Gb only, do not use this flag. Also do not install any VGA/LAN/WLAN/SOUND drivers during install. Install them later.
