Newton122189
I recently installed Leo4allv2 on my HP tx2000z via the guide provided on this forum here's the link to that post http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87077 the install went good except for the fact that my tx2000z wont ever wake up from sleep mode, the screen just stays black and is unresponsive this wasnt one of the things listed as not working, so im wondering, is there a fix and if so can someone point me in the right direction Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194758-is-there-a-fix-for-the-hp-tx2000z-not-waking-from-sleep/ Share on other sites
glitchbit
Here is the reality of your situation. OSX expects your BIOS to be written a certain way... because well it expects that your machine is a real mac for starters. If you really wanted OSX then you should have gone for Intel motherboards and CPU's and nVidia gfx cards.. having said that I own a similar tablet with an unsupported ati gfx card =(... As far as your sleep issue goes you probably need a dsdt patch for and I just recently made one for my asus. I do not have the time though right now to assist you due to assignments I need to work on. I wish you luck and I will let this thread of mine give you a good starting point if you really want to presue the dsdt patch.. you might get lucky and someone could have already made a patch.. if not then you will be waiting.. and I have no interest in writing one for my hp amd multitouch tablet because without native resolution I have little interest... http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=194528 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194758-is-there-a-fix-for-the-hp-tx2000z-not-waking-from-sleep/#findComment-1313586 Share on other sites
glitchbit
It's your lucky day newton, download "DSDT Patcher", run it, (do not check mark anything) and then zip up the session folder it creates so I can look through your dsdt.dsl file. I have an identical model (tx2z) and sense they recently created the needed Radeon kext for it earlier this month I am now typing on my tx2z inside leopard. So as soon as you send your file over I will look over and compare it to my own and I will get us both up and running!
