_loosh_
This is getting really irritating, I've installed the new Vista beta on a new partition but it won't do anything other than give me a blank screen when started. It works fine with my on-board GMA950, though. Occasionally it gives me the dreaded blue screen/whit text page where I can see that it is an ATIO file it is having problems with. What's even more annoying is that I have downloaded the latest Vista 64 ATi drivers but they won't instal as they cannot detect my ATi card. Grr. I get the same problems in Safe mode and VGA mode. Has anyone any ideas? It's got me beat. Thanks, _loosh_ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19473-vista-public-beta-blank-screen/ Share on other sites
bwhsh8r
Try using the one card that works and then boting into vista and installing the ATI vista drivers from their web site. This is odd since i have an x800xl and it was fully recognised. oh, and you ahve to make sure that you fully uninstalled the other video card doesnt conflict. good luck max Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19473-vista-public-beta-blank-screen/#findComment-140491 Share on other sites
