codainnln
Hi, I've successfully installed Snow Leopard on this system. However, I'm having slight difficulties: When I installed the system with a Radeon 3450 card, I could not adjust the screen resolution. It was fixed on 1400x1050. Appareantly, you can't use this card on Snow Leopard yet?? I need a 1680x1050 for my HP 22". In a status of complete dispair, I've run the marsbooter.sh script, installed nati drivers (or kexts, I still don't know how to call them) for my video card, and all those things seemed to make my system less stable Then I've switched to a x3100, which is suppported on OSX10.5, but the installer froze at the apple boot screen. I'm using a P5Q Pro with 2102 Juzzi bios, the MARS132-BOOT132-IAN bootcd, and a retail SL disk. Sound and LAN was working perfectly. I've also looked to install OSX on my ICH10R fakeraid RAID0, but this didn't work, wich I assume is normal. (I've hooked up a 320gb drive now) All those kext and guides are primarily for P5Q's, not P5Q Pro's, does anybody have kext's for P5Q Pro's or any advice? I would really like to throw away Windows, and within 2 years, buy a real Mac. Thank You. (and excuse my bad english) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194608-p5q-proq95504gbradeon-3450x3100-problems/ Share on other sites
