Eosan
Hey, I already readed much guides and tryed diffrent ways but after i restart and try to boot from the Installation DVD or frome a prepared HD nothing is happaning it just looks like this : First of all My System : Motherboard : Asus P5Q-E CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo 3Ghz Ram : 4 GB DDR2 1066 Corsair Dominater Ram Grafik : Gainward ATI HD 4870 1GB Golden Sample Harddrive : Maxtor 250 GB Sata What i already tried : Nr 1. I burned the iATKOS_v7.iso on a DvD and Restartet my PC and tryed to boot frome it but nothing happend just the Black Screen. I waitet like 10 Minutes but still nothing. Nr 2. I followed this guide here downloaded the 2001-BIOS-Asus_P5Q_E_for_MAC_OS_X_&_all_OS__incl._by_Juzzi..ROM.zip Bios and Flashed it. I used all this Bios Settings : MainStorage information Configure SATA as: AHCI HD write protect: Disabled IDE detect time out: 0 [*]AHCI configuration CD/DVD time out: 0 [*]AI Tweaker (I am using DDR2-1066): set dram timing control as manual: 5-5-5-15-3-52-6-3 [*]Advanced Onboard devices conf HD Audio: Enabled Front panel type: HD Audio Marvel IDE: Disabled Marvel LAN1: Enabled (associated LAN BOOT ROM: Disabled) Marvel LAN2: Enabled (associated LAN BOOT ROM: Disabled) LSI Firewire: Enabled Serial port: Disabled [*]USB Configuration USB: Enabled 2.0 Controller: Enabled 2.0 Controller mode: HiSpeed EHCI Hand off: Enabled Legacy support: Auto [*]Plug & Play: Yes [*]Power Suspend mode: auto Report Video: no ACPI 2.0 support: Enabled APIC support: Enabled APM ConfigurationPower off, everything disabled I did Everything on the Guide till Step 5. Install 5.1. Burn the IDeneb ISO onto a DVD-R or DVD-RW. 5.2. Instal IDeneb on the 2nd section from the left. But same thing like on my first try with Iatkos v7, nothing happens just the black Screen with the blinking _ Nr. 3 I thougt maybe my DVD Burner is not working right so i tried this guide here with the Leopard HD install helper. Did everything like in the guide explained. I used Leo4allv3.iso and let it copy to my first Partition from Leopard HD install Helper. After that i checkt the Partion ID was AF and active. Everything was right. then i rebootet and tryed to boot from the Harddisk but same thing like in try 1 and 2 just the Black Screen with the blinking _ Nr. 4 I tried all 3 iso images (the iatkosv7.iso the iDeneb_v1.4_10.5.6.iso and the Leo4Allv3.iso) in VMWare Workstation 6.5, they all bootet fine with busratio=20 and cpus=1. Anyone got an Idea what could be wrong, maybe i should by a new DVD Burner because that one is a old one and maybe not working right. But the Harddisk try did the same thing so it could be something else.
