Hello all. Im currently dual booting leopard (ideneb 10.5.7) and snow leopard 10.6.0. After a month of trying, i finally got SL up and running. everything works, except for my video. im stuck with one monitor at 1024x768. i go into system profiler and it shows "GPU" as my video card and no acceleration, and no resolution change options in displays.

i tried copying over my NVkush, NVdarwin, and NVinject kexts from my leopard to snow leopard, but to no avail, nothing changes.

I seem to be lost at this point. In leopard, system profiler reads:(mind you, my video memory is actually 256mb not a gig):

NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS:

I seem to be stuck at this point now, and cannot use snow leopard until i get this issue resolved. Does anybody have any advice for my situation?

Remove all your video-enabler kextx: clear & rebuild the caches, make sure you have Chameleon RC3 or PC-EFI 10.x [current version is 10.5] installed, edit apple.com.boot.plist in E/E to include:

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<String>Yes</string>
