sadiekiller
ok, so can anyone explain how the hell to get OSx86 to recognize two monitors on a Geforce 6800 GT? It really is annoying that i have all this wonderful desktop space on XP, but then i try to use any of it on OSx86 and it denies me. The really annoying thing about it is it doesn't even bother to find out there are two monitors. i have Macvida installed, but that only allows me marginally higher resolution. That and how long till some X-fi sound drivers are released? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19451-dual-monitors/ Share on other sites

sadiekiller
you just killed my inner child. as kool as it is to have nice stuff for my computer, it sucks that most of it doesn't work for linux, OSx86, or anything else. gwprod12
np_ is working as hard as he can on MacVidia. It's a slow process, cause he doesnt have any source code to work with. He's basicly writing a driver from scratch with almost no source material. That he's gotten so far is pretty good already. Mac OS only includes the drivers that Apple finds necessary to run the hardware they use. I dont think they intend to change that anytime soon. Might wanna get an ATI 1600 instead of a nvidia 6800 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19451-dual-monitors/#findComment-127443 Share on other sites
