jellymonster
Hi, Today I've been trying my hardest to get Snow Leopard installed onto my GA-G31M-ES2L with a P4 630 CPU. This kind o combined the following two guides to do my install: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=181699 http://prasys.co.cc/2009/08/installing-sno...pard-for-osx86/ mostly followed the 1st guide but did the processor stuff from the 2nd. After my install I tried booting from the hard disk with -v -f but it kept kp'ing. So I tried a long shot and plugged the HDD from my other Snow Leopard install on another PC in, and used the boot loader of that. It worked, I could boot into Snow Leopard. So I copied the boot files over and got it working, upgraded to 10.6.1 and started installing the other kexts and fixing my DSDT. Now when I boot, under -v, it say: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out Not really sure why this is. help please Thanks JM Edit: here's a picture Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194442-cant-boot-into-snow-leopard-appleintelcpupower-timed-out/ Share on other sites
