CoreX
Hi. I have installed Snow Leopard 10.6.1 with Rebel EFI. Everything works fine except one thing. My Realtek SC doesn't work and unfortunately at this moment the Rebel EFI doesn't support this Card. So i ask, is there exist any fix for this card? Thanks. I installed with Rebel, which, being a bit of a moron with computers, was the easy option for me, and didn't have firewire or sound. Also couldn't dual boot with WIN7 from my other HD. After a few abortive kext patches, I downloaded Stella's Halloween Patch (which has now been superceded) I figured I didn't have anything to lose since the installation via Rebel was so quick. Here's the link. http://stellarola.tumblr.com/post/21398368...lloween-edition I ran it from within SL and - bingo - the sound was there. Had to use another audio output ( Centre/Subwoofer Speaker out ) but it's stereo and good. Still no firewire but I'll get there. Changed my OSX Drive to one of the yellow SATAs (2) and changed the boot order in BIOS so that the OSX disk came first. More Bingo, I'm dual-booting like a dream. Guess I just got lucky by blundering about.
