ToiletDuck
I have the Asus X83v notebook and am having issues. I tried to install ideneb OS X leopard on a 50gb partition I setup.(I also run windows 7). It never actually tells me if it finished the install or not it just reboots then it hangs at the boot screen (white with grey apple logo). I've tried booting -x and -v but it is still locking up. If I remove the disk completely from the drive and reboot it simply sits at a black screen with a blinking dash and goes nowhere. I get no option to boot windows or OSX. So right now I'm putting windows 7 back on and will restoring the files back from my server. Anyway I've tried another distro, the latest Kalyway, and it wouldn't even get to the install screen let alone anywhere else. So far ideneb has gotten the furthest. What should I do to increase my odds here? Any idea which distro works the best?
