sniperviper
hi@all, after installing ideneb distro v1.6l (10.5.8) there is a strange effect concerning airport. during setup no patch was installed for wireless. after bootup airport was detected and seemed to work properly, but no network will be detected; no connection to a SSID specified network (timed out) i was wondering that creating a network will function(!?) tried a new setup with broadcom patch - the same issue/problem :-( also tried the broadcom_enabler_script (0.5.2) - no success :-( in former times airport works well under 10.4.8 and 10.5.2 does anyone have an idea how to fix this? many thnx. gtx sniper here are my system specs: intel p4/3ghz ht sse2 msi ms-7048 oem 1gb dual channel ram via rhine III ethernet on-board ac97/ich5 sound on-board (realtek 8086/24d5) dell minipci truemobile 1450 (bcm4309) 14e4/4324 nvidia gforce 6200 agp, 512mb 250gb ata100 hd, 7200rpm (mac os) primary slave 200gb ata100 hd, 7200rpm (win) primary master sony ide dvd-rom pioneer ide dvd-rw Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/194156-airport-issue-ideneb-16l/ Share on other sites
