topmybux Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 I was installing iATKOS v7 on my Dell inspiron 1420 everything went well, and fianlly I came to the darwin booter. I selected mac and it wouldn't work. I selected windows and it wouldn't work. I put in my windows vista cd to restore/recover and I can't even run the cd!!! It gives me error like boot error even when I try booting my laptop normally it gives me the same error message I plug in my iatkos cd, and now that jus hangs on the first step, and I get a lot of lines saying I should show this picture to a support team wat should I do my computer won't run!!! GimmeRed Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 Use a g-parted live CD and flag your vista partition as the boot partition. It will likely give you a boot error and ask for the vista cd to repair.
