amd_sony
Time Machine seems to be working. It recognized my drives and the first full backup of 520gb went smoothly after running overnight. The problem I'm experiencing is Time Machine is attempting to do another full backup only an hour after it completed the last one. I thought it was supposed to do a differential or incremental backup on an hourly basis. My system's details are in my signature (HackPro Lite). cheesetoast
Just got mine working right i think -trashed all time machine prefs -deleted backup folder from backup disk (had to use cocktail to delete locked items) -turned off second network adapter in my ep45-ds3r's bios -turned off power saving "green mode" for network adapter. -deleted ethernet interface eo1 from network system pref. -used UInstaller_1.2 to apply "ethernet efi string" i was getting errors about EN0 not found in the log before, now all is good. I used a widget called "Time Machine Buddy" to view the log. ------------ here is the log before i did the fix Starting standard backup Couldn't find en0.
