wxyu
Hi all, not too sure whether to post this here or in Post-Installation, would appreciate some help - I've recently installed Snow Leopard on my GA-X48-DQ6 board + Sapphire Radeon H4870 using LifeHacker's USB guide I was able to install with - Chameleon-2.0-RC3-r658 - netkas's PC-EFI 10.5 and - ACPIPS2Nub.kext - ATI4800Controller.kext - Disabler.kext - dsmos.kext - EVOEnabler.kext - fakesmc.kext - NullCPUPowerManagerment.kext - OpenHaltRestart.kext - VoodooPS2Controller.kext without - DSDT.aml - com.apple.Boot.plist - smbios.plist - Extensions.mkext I know some of them kexts are redundant, but it's what I've got my system running with. What I would like some help with, is to boot from my Snow Leopard installation instead of the USB. I've tried installing Chameleon RC3 on the new install (using terminal) + the PCEFI 10.5 boot file into the partition I installed it into, and moved the kexts listed into an Extras/Extensions folder on Snow-Leopard (Name of the partition), without any luck. Booting up with the HDD with Snow-Leopard on top of the list (w/o the USB) doesn't work, it bypasses to my XP installation. I've tried using Kext Utility and installing each of the 9 kexts that way - Kext Utility installs to S/L/E - not sure if this is right, but didn't work as well. I think the boot file is not being read like it is when I have the USB plugged in. Just would like some advice on what I should be doing to shift the bootloader onto my Snow-Leopard partition.
