snow cowboy
I am currently downloading 10.5.8 and have a hp dv6 1270eg laptop Specs os: vista, but moving to 7 before leopard gets installed proc: AMD Turion x2 rm-75 mobo: quanta 3061 ram: 4gbs ddr2 graphic card: ati radeon hd 4650 hd: seagate 500gb ethernet: Realtek RTL8168D/8111D wireless: Atheros AR9285 the version im downloading is already meant for intel/amd pcs, but i want to have all the .kext (drivers) so it goes smoothly as possible. i know my graphics card poses some difficulty and i have read into it, im ok with not being able to have full reso. also i want to then upgrade to snow leopard. is there anything i have to change when i do that or does is just install into the existing leopard keeping all my drivers and such? and one more question, after i have the os up and running, will it be able to see the files (music, movies, pics and such) from my windows partition? thanks for any input and i am scouring the forums on this and other sites, but any extra help will def help more Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/193863-1058-install-on-an-hp-lappy/ Share on other sites
