Yossarian
I was wondering if anybody's had a chance to use a Canopus Box to play video via a firewire connection. If you have, what kinds of successes or failures have you had? Yossarian
Is no one familiar with this hardware? It's for playing DV movies out your firewire port (for higher end media editing applications). I'd like to get one but don't want to spend the money without knowing its compatibility with OSx86. bofors
If it is just a FireWire device that requires no driver it should work fine. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/19362-canopus-boxes-specifically-advc110/#findComment-130141 Share on other sites
hyde
Hi I've tested a canopus ADVC-100 with osX 10.4.5 + logic pro 7.2 to have my video displays on a video monitor and it works great. Hyde Edit: I've also tested with a mini dv camera and it works great.
