I've tried installing the kexts in the stickied post for all the different sound devices and It didnt work I FIGURED IT OUT. USE THE AC97 Driver Kext. It can be found on kexts.com and also get the Kext Utility which will install the kext of your choice if you drop it in the correct folder. DJ24966 Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 Drew, that works for me as well, but is there a way to make it so I can use headphones? I plug them in, and get no sound. Also, I have a 5.1 system, and only get sound from my 2 rear speakers so it's hard to hear without turning it up.
