lgx120
Hi there, (this post normally belongs to post-installation snow leopard, but i could also need a solution for 10.5.6 leopard) got a LG x120 netbook with snow leopard. If i want to change into sleep mode, it only works sometimes and only when OSX is just fresh booted up. So when the netbook changes into sleep mode and i wake it up (doesn't freeze), i can't change again without a restart into sleep mode. It directly wakes up. I already used the netbookinstaller and tried different solutions of other netbooks where sleep mode completely doesn't work. The 2nd problem is that when i start up the netbook there's a "0251 System cmos checksum bad"-error since OSX is installed. Cmos-battery is ok. Has anyone a solution? When the sleep-mode would work, it would be equal if there's the cmos-error. greets (and sry for bad grammar or vocabular) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/193506-lg-x120-g-sleep-mode-need-help/ Share on other sites
lgx120
Hi, i fixed the cmos error by editing and compiling a new DSDT.. there are different instructions to do this. google search "snow leopard cmos fix" and you'll get answers. But the Hibernation problem is still there.. Does nobody ever have heard about this?
