ihackamac2 Posted October 22, 2009 Share Posted October 22, 2009 I have been messing arround with this thing trying to get it to stripe two 1tb drives and use them to boot SL I have a completely stable machine otherwise, but I cannot seem to get the drives to work. I have tried setting them up in a raid config in the bios, I have tried a soft config during the install. It finished the install with a soft config, but them wont boot afterwards.Has anyone had succes with a 0 stripe and two drives with my mobo? Only difference is that now the system tells me that teh second HD is having hardware problems and needs to be replaced. Love to hear if anyone has it figured out, but I have been told that the SW mirroring that apple provides is not very good. I'm thinking of using Time Machine to backup my main drive on this one instead.
