Mepavaan
First time i got my hackint0sh install working almost out of the box. Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R Intel E6550 6gb 2xKingston PC6400 2gb, 2xG-Skill PC6400 1gb Radeon HD4890 1gb OC WD 500gb sata2 WDC WD5000AAKS-00A7B0 Used iDeneb install to make usb drive. I made bootable usb drive with retail snow leopard install inside, followed instructions from http://lifehacker.com/5360150/install-snow...acking-required Bootloader from that guide if you missed the link http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/life..._Leopard_v2.zip Basicly you just use disk utility to erase usb drive and then use restore function to "copy" retail dvd image to that usb, after that just run bootloader and select usb to target and you got a bootable usb with retail installation media. Boot and install like you would do on normal mac. You can use that same bootloader to make you freshly installed hdd boot just run it again and select your os x hdd and you dont need usb/cd/dvd etc to boot anymore Everything worked except games wich needed 3d, resolution change worked etc but my display card needed this for games to work http://rapidshare.de/files/48323373/QE_CI_...10.6.1.pkg.html Software update worked 10.6 to 10.6.1 Edit: From bios i changed everything to ACHI mode to see my sata hdd:s on install but didnt see my ide hdd, not on install and not on disk utility, assuming jmicron isnt loaded or i need to change something back from bios, trying to figure that out next. Huge thanks to those who made the guide and bootloader package, cant get any easier than this Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/193267-106-retail-on-ga-p35c-ds3r/ Share on other sites
