hayduke
Hi, After foolishly trying to use Software Update to upgrade to 10.5.8, I wiped the HFS+ partition and tried reinstalling 10.5.5 with iDeneb. A screen with the universal "no" symbol (circle, slash) appeared and I hard restarted. Now the computer doesn't detect my hard drive at all -- it's not even listed in BIOS. I can only boot from CD/DVD. Had no problems with the drive before. Any help? -ty Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/193186-ideneb-makes-hard-drive-vanish-into-thin-air/ Share on other sites

If it's fixable, then they should be able to do it.
